Umaru was born on 20th May 2005 and he is currently 19 years old. He is in Secondary Level Five (S5) at Busoga Light College.

Umaru stays in Kyabirwa, a village in Jinja City, Uganda. His parents separated when he was two years old and he currently resides with his grandmother who helps take care of him. He is the second born in a family of eight children, with five sisters and two brothers.

 Umaru loves playing football, volleyball and basketball and is very passionate about sports and the outdoors. His favorite food is rice and chicken and his favorite subject in school is science. He wishes to pursue a career in the allied health professional field and if he has the finances, would love to become a doctor.
