Ponny Georgina serves as Senior Finance and Personnel Manager, having recently been promoted to this role after four years working with the S.O.U.L. Foundation. She holds a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication with a focus on Public Relations from Uganda Christian University, Mukono, Uganda and a Certificate in Computer Applications. Ponny first joined the S.O.U.L. Foundation as a Finance Assistant in 2019 and rapidly made herself indispensable as she created financial forms, policies and procedures to ease accountability, and led the organization to embrace audits as a fulfillment of the government’s requirements of an organization.

Ponny was raised in Jinja but is very proud of her South Sudanese heritage and often leads with that when she introduces herself. She aspires for the incredible work of the S.O.U.L Foundation to expand beyond Jinja City and Bugweri District to other parts of Uganda, and even further to South Sudan and beyond. In her spare time, Ponny enjoys arts and crafts, reading novels, watching movies and listening to music.
