Kiana Davis

Kiana Davis received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Print Journalism from Lincoln University, Oxford, Pennsylvania in 2017. She started her post college work experience in the retail industry as an Assistant Manager at Macy’s Jewelry Department, and then entered the non-profit world more recently as Operations Manager at Diverse City Fund and Outreach Coordinator for Community Mediation DC, both located in Washington DC.
Kiana developed a strong sense of appreciation for the nonprofit sector during the COVID pandemic, after witnessing their important services to individuals, families and communities in need. Her experience gave her a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life of communities under the best of times, and the worst of times, all the while, trying to communicate their vision and mission clearly, and seeking much needed funding to keep them afloat.
Kiana has traveled around the United States, visited Jamaica and lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for a year. A fun fact about Kiana is that she took Japanese for three years in college. She is a busy mom of two but in whatever free time she can carve out, she enjoys spending leisure time with her family and reading. High on her bucket list are exploring the natural wonders of the world, visiting Hawaii and Uganda of course!!
