Ronnie Kaluba

Ronie was born on September 22, 2012. He is currently 10 years old and studies at Buwenge Parents Primary School. He lives in Namasagali, a village in Kamuli District, Uganda. Ronnie is in boarding school since his home village is very far from school.

During his school holidays, he goes home to visit both his parents who are small scale farmers. They grow food crops like beans, maize, cassava, potatoes for home consumption and as well as a source of income. Ronnie has five siblings, all girls, who he adores. One of them had to unfortunately drop out of school due to lack of school fees.

Ronnie is humble but very ambitious, always focused on his studies and has been able to maintain exceptional grades throughout. He loves playing football during his free time and he also likes helping his parents with domestic work during school holidays. Being a part of the S.O.U.L student sponsorship program means a great deal to him and his family. All of us at S.O.U.L. can vouch that he is committed to continuously working hard and attain the education he deserves!
