Omari Jinaki

Omari Jinaki joined the Board of Directors in 2015 after volunteering with the organization for several years and traveling to Uganda to meet with beneficiaries. Omari holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and has two Masters degrees: a Masters in Business from Columbia University, New York and a Masters in Education from Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois.
He currently serves in the field of education. He previously served as the Impact Strategist at Timshel where he evaluated the way nonprofits and brands use data and analytics to solve social challenges. Prior to this, Omari led market analytic initiatives for a number of Fortune 500 companies.
Additionally, Omari mentored youth and managed company-wide
volunteer events at the Advisory Board Company, a healthcare organization in Washington D.C., USA. Omari also served on the Board of Directors of the Bloomingdale Family Program, an organization that served as the model for the first Head Start program in the 1950s.
