Maurine Nantondo
Maurine ”Nalongo” Nantondo has worked with the S.O.U.L. Foundation for 18 months and currently serves as the Senior Programs Manager. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Psychology from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda and a Diploma in Social Work from Nsamizi Training Institute of Social Development, Kampala, Uganda and a Certificate in HIV/AIDS Counselling from The AIDS Support Organization (TASO) in Uganda.
Maurine previously worked with St Francis Healthcare Centre in Jinja, Uganda. She has worked on numerous community programs learning to conduct needs assessments, program implementation, evaluation and research. As a social worker, she is always available to counsel individuals, families and members of the community to resolve conflict. She is a Mental Health advocate of how mindfulness-based interventions can reduce stress and improve resilience. In her spare time, Maurine enjoys networking, traveling for adventure, music, and spending time with her family.
