Mary was born on December 23, 2008 and is 15 years old. She is in senior one (S.1) at Busoga Light College, Jinja district.

She stays in Buwenda village, Jinja city with her seven (7) siblings and mother. She lost her father while she was still young and her mother, who operates a small scale farm and works as a day laborer in other people’s gardens to earn a living, is solely responsible for meeting her school tuition and other requirements. Among her siblings are five (5) girls and two (2) boys. Mary is a friendly person who likes helping her mother in the garden and house work as well as helping people in need. During her free time, she enjoys watching movies.

Mary desires to become a professional nurse in the future after her academic journey.
