Joseph Were has served in various capacities at the S.O.U.L. Foundation over the past six years to his current role as the Student Sponsorship and ICT Manager. Joseph holds a Diploma in project planning and management as well as National Certificate in Business Administration from Makerere University Business School, Uganda.

He is an Information, Communications and Technology expert with extensive experience in web technologies, graphic design, search engine optimization and digital marketing within emerging technologies. He has developed skills in systems and data analysis, financial management, program planning and implementation.

He feels the greatest joy and inspiration when he learns of a “change story” among the beneficiaries of the S.O.U.L Foundation. When he gets any free time, he enjoys singing in the shower and to whomever will listen (he has a beautiful voice). He loves music as well as science fiction and adventure movies.
